SMS consent and message flow

Persa texts only registered users who complete every step below. Entering or verifying a phone number alone does not enroll a user in messages.

Sign in

The user creates or signs in to a Persa account and opens Settings → Presence.

Verify the number

The user enters a mobile number and submits the one-time code sent through Twilio Verify.

Give separate consent

Only after verification does the “Allow Persa texts” control appear. The user must select it to opt in.

Public copy of the SMS opt-in form

In signed-in Settings, Persa verifies this number with a one-time code before showing the separate SMS consent control.

The SMS checkbox is separate, optional, and unchecked by default. This public review copy demonstrates the phone-number field, consent disclosure, legal links, and signup control shown throughout the signed-in flow. Using this public copy does not save consent or enroll a phone number.

Users can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or by turning off texts in Persa Settings. Reply HELP for assistance or visit the Persa Support Center.

Persa does not purchase mobile-number lists or enroll users through verbal consent, paper forms, QR codes, or text-message keywords.
